Grubb Mountain and Gunsite Fire Updates

The Grubb Mountain Fire has line around it and is contained at 5.7 acres. Crews, including a water tender from Marion Fire, are working to extinguish and mop it up today. Elbow Creek Fire

The Elbow Creek Fire up Pleasant Valley Rd is out. Our firefighters got a dozer line and hose line around it quickly, and contained it at 16.5 acres. Then yesterday’s rain extinguished it.

High Fire Danger

The Kalispell Interagency Dispatch Center recently elevated fire danger level to HIGH. Just west of us in Lincoln County, the fire danger level is VERY HIGH. Please, practice caution when outdoors; do not create a spark that flames up to wildland fire!
