Our new Fire Chief, Jason Hill
To many of you he is a familiar face, you may have already met him while he was providing you with care, or maybe you’ve been friends for years.
Nonetheless we’d like to take a moment to introduce him to our Marion community.
Jason is a native Montanan with family extending throughout the Flathead Valley, and he has called Marion his home since late 2013. He joined the fire department as a volunteer in June of 2015 and quickly found the camaraderie and dedication that he had been missing since leaving active duty with the Marines. Over the years he found a growing sense of purpose and passion in caring for the entire Marion fire district. He sought out a variety of specialized education and built the skills needed to provide comprehensive service to our community.
Professionally, Jason, has worked hard to build standards in caring for the district, and for the education and training of the department members. He maintains an important close working relationship with the county and state, as well as our neighboring Fire agencies.
Jason is thrilled to be working with the best team of Firefighters and EMTs this department has ever had; In the community of people that he deeply cares about.
Please join us in excitement as Jason steps into his new role within the Marion Fire Department.
